Tour Historic Algiers Point!
Algiers Point Tours offers a two hour walking tour of Historic Algiers Point in New Orleans, Louisiana. Every tour includes a round trip ferry ride from Canal Street (downtown New Orleans and French Quarter) across the Mississippi River to tour Algiers. The ferry ride is a great time to take photos of the city skyline and the Crescent City Connection bridge.
As the second oldest neighborhood in the city (est. 1719), Algiers Point offers a rich mix of history, architecture and small town charm! Every Algiers Point Tour will cover cultural and historic attractions of Algiers in addition to introducing every guest to the exciting things to do in Algiers Point!

Every tour will cover the basics of New Orleans history with a focus on Algiers and the historic buildings and architecture in Algiers Point.

Where does the tour start?
Our tours have two meetings spots for each tour. On the Eastbank (French Quarter or Downtown New Orleans) your tour guide will meet you at the base of the Mardi Gras Jester. Located across from Harrah's casino at the foot of Canal Street (pictured). All tours include a ferry ride across the Mississippi River to Algiers Point.
Already in Algiers Point?
In Algiers Point, on the Westbank or would like to bypass the ferry ride, feel free to meet at the Louis Armstrong statue (pictured) 30 min after the scheduled tour start time. The Louis Armstrong statue is located at the Algiers Ferry Terminal (Address: 1 Morgan Street, New Orleans, LA, 70114). The Algiers Point portion of the tour will begin there, please let us know if you will be meeting us on the Westbank.
For Example: If it is a 1:30pm tour, meet at the Louis Armstrong statue for 2:00pm.
